Set up the diamond dotz light pad: Place the light pad on a flat surface. Connect the power source if it requires one. Turn on the light pad to illuminate the surface.
Position the diamond painting on the light board: Take your diamond painting canvas and gently place it on top of the light pad. Ensure that the canvas is centered and lies flat on the pad.
Activate the backlight: If your light pad has adjustable brightness levels, set it to a comfortable level for your vision. This will help you see the symbols and patterns more clearly.
Apply the diamond dots: Refer to your diamond painting kit instructions for the specific process. Typically, you will need to peel back a small section of the protective film on the canvas and use the provided wax pad or tweezers to pick up the diamonds. Match the symbols on the canvas with the corresponding color and place the diamonds on top using gentle pressure.
Work in sections: Start with a small section of the canvas and complete it before moving on to the next section. The light pad will help you see the symbols and guide you in placing the diamonds accurately.
Continue diamond painting: Repeat the process of placing diamonds on the canvas, working section by section, until you complete the entire design.

Thank you for your feedback. The protective film is on the back of the light pad,and it prevents the light pad from being scratched. We do not recommend peeling off the protective film.
In addition, A1 size light panels do not have brackets, which you can see on the product details page. Hope to get your understanding.
